Hy-Level strongly believes in and supports apprenticeships. We have a state certified program that is second to none. Many employees of the company, who form our backbone, have gone through our formal apprenticeship programs. These apprenticeships help lay a solid foundation and well-rounded job knowledge for individuals.
The apprenticeship program includes training, on-the-job experience and certification as an Automatic Screw Machine or a CNC Machinist.
In addition to the classroom hours at local educational institutions, Hy-Level works in concert with the training to provide on the job experience in all areas using state of the art technology and equipment. To complete the apprenticeship program, individuals must complete 8,000 hours of on-the-job training and coursework. Upon completion, a certificate is issued by the Ohio State Apprenticeship Council, and U.S. Department of Labor. Additionally, Hy-Level was the first Precision Machined Products Association company to have our program certified by NIMS (National Institute for Metalworking Skills, Inc.)
